COVID Roundtable with Dr. Mike Templin and Virtual Networking Event

Charles River Labs holds its first ever virtual roundtable and networking event. Join panelist Dr. Mike Templin in a COVID-19 roundtable to discuss safety assessment testing needed for COVID-19 programs, CTAP guidelines and the application process. Later, enjoy 30 minutes of networking with colleagues from the greater San Diego community.

Description

Come join us for a virtual networking event you won’t want to miss. For the first 30 minutes of the event, Dr. Mike Templin, Senior Scientific Director, and member of our scientific advisory team, will be fielding questions related to COVID-19, regarding the level of safety assessment needed for such programs as well as questions about CTAP guidelines and the application process. Attendees can submit their questions beforehand via Zoom or they can ask ad hoc during the discussion.

For the remaining 30 minutes, attendees will have the opportunity to participate in virtual networking, where members of the local scientific community can speak directly to each other about their research (COVID-19-related or not) and personally network. Using the Zoom platform, we will have a series of small chat rooms where we will mix the attendees in a room every 10 minutes.

We hope the networking portion will provide a fun and safe way to interact with your colleagues in the industry during this time. We continue to adapt to the current pandemic, and we are excited to venture into the world of virtual networking with the local San Diego community.
