Legislation refresher program - (non-certified)

Non certified refresher program

Description

Legislation - Refresher Program (non-certified course)

Learning outcomes are documented within each eLearning course. Within courses there are resource references, and it is recommended that these resources be reviewed.

The Charles River IS Manager or your own establishment Named Training & Competency Officer (NTCO) will monitor your progress through the modules and the results of knowledge quizzes.

This online refresher program can be completed at your own pace, but you must complete all modules, courses, quizzes and assessment within 4 weeks - see program 'Due Date' (see top of page and your enrolment email for program end date)

An extension may be requested to your manager which will be considered on a case by case basis (request the extension from this program home page).

There are continuous tests of knowledge (Quiz's) as you progress through courses, this ensures a firm understanding of the  course material.

The following assessments will be set at the end of this program: Legislation refresher program assessment

At the end of all courses there is an assessment, comprising of 10 questions (25 minutes to complete)

The pass mark for the assessment is 70%.

You are provided with two attempts.

Successful completion - you will be awarded a Legislation refresher program 'badge', find this in your learning dashboard.

(You then enter the re-certification requirement for the Legislation refresher program at your establishment).

Monitoring Progress

It is commonly felt that successful eLearning requires both monitoring and mentoring from an experienced supervisor/mentor. To aid the mentor in observing a students' progress, NTCOs/supervisors are given the opportunity to remotely monitor time spent in the modules, as well as results and achievements.

Prerequisites

Your NTCO will be contacted to confirm your application prior to approval of registration.
